I love Gmail, but HTML 5 scares me...

This is relatively boring if you are not a developer, so I feel that I owe you a bit of explanation. The reason why this is cool is because you can save all of your downloaded Gmail, and view it even if your device is not connected to the net. So, instead of getting a 404 error from your browser, you get the latest info that you just downloaded. It does it by storing it locally. Yes, it is exciting for developers. It also means that you have to learn a new standard, and figure out how to develop apps based on this "local database" standard from HTML 5. Thx technology.
